- - - - Funding can be focused on not demanding issues. Thie article talks about how they funded mitochondrial disease research when they should have been handling food insecurity in the US. When people or companies direct their money to certain research topics, like the mitochondrial disease, they take away focus and much needed resources from issues that can impact millions of people. This is one of the main issues with bioethics, deciding if its fair for them to research those issues or should they be putting their money elsewhere.
        
        Especially considering how taking an upstream approach to solving the major issues within the US such as poverty, health disparities, food deserts, etc. If we put our money to these issues, maybe we can reduce the deaths, disease, and illness levels among Americans.

      - epistemic Justice: this is the fair distribution of knowledge and power in society
- - - - Organizations like the CDC and WHO can create nationwide policies that states have to adopt, especially in an emergency like a pandemic. States had to adopt practices to slow the spreads and get vaccinated.

        Market: views healthcare as an economic good, a way to make a profit
        
        Social: healthcare is a right, government should help provide it
