Attempt to get around the bases and to home plate to score

9 people play defense at a time while the other team bats
BASIC RULES
Balls and strikes
Strike (pitch was in the strike zone
3 strikes and the batter is out
Ball (pitch was NOT in the strike zone
4 balls and the batter goes to first base
Bases
There are 4 bases
Run around the bases without getting out
To score, the runner has to reach home plate without getting out
Outs
Step on the base before the runner or tag them with your glove w/ the ball in the glove
The side of the inning is done once three outs are recorded
INNING
There is 9 innings
Each inning has a top and a bottom (2 halves)
