PASSADO
Passado Simples (Simple Past)
Uso: Ações concluídas no passado
Estrutura:
Afirmativa: Subject + Past form of verb (He ate, They worked)
Negativa: Subject + did not + Base form of verb (She did not eat)
Interrogativa: Did + Subject + Base form of verb? (Did you eat?)
Passado Contínuo (Past Continuous)
Uso: Ações que estavam ocorrendo em um momento específico no passado
Estrutura:
Afirmativa: Subject + was/were + Verb-ing (I was eating, They were working)
Negativa: Subject + was/were not + Verb-ing (He was not eating)
Interrogativa: Was/Were + Subject + Verb-ing? (Were you eating?)

Uso: Ações que foram concluídas antes de outra ação no passado
