INFAQ : Ayat [261-274]
Kaitan dgn ayat sebelum? [Ayat 260]
[Ayat 261] Infaq - Pelaburan akhirat jgka pjg yg plg menguntungkan
Asbabun Nuzul ayat [261]
Ttg Uthman bin Affan & Abdurrahman bin 'Auf yg infaq harta mrk utk Perang Tabuk
Ganjaran akhirat bg org yg infaq dijalan Allah (Fi Sabilillah)
Spending on Jihad, on horse stalls, weapons and
so forth.
sama seperti sebiji benih yang tumbuh menerbitkan tujuh tangkai;
unlimited!!
eg infaq org gaji kecil vs jutawan
susah payah (musyaqqah)
mengikut keikhlasan
And Allah is All-Sufficient for His creatures' needs
- Maha luas kurnianya
His Favor is so wide that it encompasses much more than His creation,
All-Knower.
He has full knowledge in whoever deserves it, or does not
deserve it.
[Ayat 262] Infaq builds character
Good characters
Ganjaran pahala di akhirat, tak rasa takut & sedih.
Refer juga ayat [2:274]
Barang pemberian itu mesti halal
ada perasaan gembira semasa memberi infak.
kerana mencari redha ilahi.
barang itu mesti baik
Bad characters to avoid
Boleh membatalkan pahala sedeqah
jangan ungkit
tidak boleh ada syirik
tidak boleh menyakiti hati
orang yang diberi infak itu
jangan riak
[Ayat 263] Jgn mengungkit pemberian
-
kemaafan adalah lebih baik
‘Minta maaf sebab saya tak boleh beri sekarang, nanti kalau ada, saya beri yer…. Saya doakan supaya masalah
awak selesai segera…. ”
Memaafkan org yg disedekahkan
compassionate words and a supplication for Muslims.
Allah is Self-Sufficient, Most Forbearing.
Allah is Rich, not needing His creation.
Allah tak perlukan sedekah hambaNya tetapi hambaNya yg perlukan sedekah sbb Allah Maha
Kaya
Maha Penyantun/Penyabar/ forgives, releases and pardons them.
Allah tidak terus menurunkan azab
Hadis ttg Org yg plg baik - yg pjg tgn diantara isteri2 nabi ie Saudah plg cepat bersedeqah
forgiving an injustice that took the form of actions or words.
[Ayat 264] Bandingan org yg mengungkit setelah 'sedeqah'
like those who donate their wealth just to show off
RIAK/SHOW OFF – kategori Syirik sbb mengharap perhatian orang bukan ALLAH
and do not believe in Allah or the Last Day.
Their example is that of a hard barren rock covered with a thin layer of soil hit by a strong rain—leaving it just a bare stone.
Do not waste your charity with reminders ˹of your generosity˺ or hurtful words,
Using the word
sadaqah
NOT fisabilillah here – to show all types of charity
Such people are unable to preserve the reward of their charity.
O believers! - Kena dengar baik-baik kalau kita anggap diri kita orang yang beriman.
Allah does not guide ˹such˺
disbelieving people.
[Ayat 265] Bandingan org yg 'sedeqah' krn ingin redha Allah
is that of a garden on a fertile hill
Ibn Abbas and Ad-Dahhak added that it also has flowing rivers
If no heavy rain falls, a drizzle is sufficient.
Such is the case regarding the believer's good deeds, for
they never become barren. Rather, Allah accepts the believer's righteous deeds and increases
them, each according to his deeds.
So it produces its,and it doubles its yield of harvest.
And Allah is All-Seeing of what you do.
LAFAZ mana dulu?
action (bima ta’malun) vs matters of the heart (sifat Allah, basiir)
untuk amalan hati : basiir dahulu sebelum action (bima ta’malun)
untuk amalan perbuatan :action (bima ta’malun) dahulu sebelum (basiir)
none of His servants' deeds ever escapes His perfect watch
And the example of those who donate their wealth, seeking Allah’s pleasure and believing the reward is certain
NIAT
Mencari redha Allah
ikhlas kerana Allah shj dan tiada niat lain
Meneguhkan iman/keyakinan kpd Allah
[Ayat 266] Bandingan org yg TIDAK IKHLAS ketika infaq
its fruits were burnt and its trees were destroyed.
condition of the disbeliever on the Day of Resurrection when he returns to Allah, for he will not have any good deeds to provide an excuse - or refuge - for him, just as the man in the parable had no strength to replant the garden.
This is how Allah makes His revelations clear to you, so perhaps you will reflect.
that you may give thought) meaning, comprehend and understand the parables and their intended implications.
a person who does good first and then follows
it with evil,
(while he is striken with old age, and his children are weak (not able to look after themselves), then it is struck with a whirlwind) with heavy wind
[Ayat 267] Sedeqah dgn yg baik & halal
Donate from the best of what you have earned and of what We have produced for you from the earth.
good things - have (legally) earned, We have produced from the earth for you
Halal
Pengajaran ayat 267 wpun tidak dinyatakan secara direct
Sesiapa yg mengambil hak org lain maka wajib dipulangkan kpd tuannya atau pewarisnya sekiranya tuannya telah mati. Atau dipulang ke baitulmal sekiranya tiada pewaris.
Sekiranya semua terhalang, hendaklah bersedekah dgn kadar harta yg diambilnya dan niat pahala kpd tuannya.
baik
And know that Allah is Self-Sufficient, Praiseworthy.
Allah Maha Kaya. Tidak memerlukan kita infaq untukNYA. Infaq kita adalah utk diri kita sendiri bg memenuhi akaun akhirat
O believers! - Kena dengar baik-baik kalau kita anggap diri kita orang yang beriman.
Do not pick out worthless things for donation, which you yourselves would only accept with closed eyes.
Letakkan diri kita sbg penerima. Begitulah jugalah dgn org lain.
Asababun Nuzul
Ibnu Kathir: that it was revealed about the Ansar. When the season for harvesting date-trees would start, the Ansar would collect ripe-date branches from their gardens and hang them on a rope erected between two pillars in the Masjid of the Messenger of Allah. The poor emigrant Companions would eat from these dates. However, some of them (Ansar) would also add lesser type of dates in between ripe-date branches, thinking they are allowed to do so.
[Ayat 268] Syaitan sentiasa berusaha menghalang org yg mahu berinfaq
The Devil threatens you with ˹the prospect of˺ poverty - slps infaq
UGUT, HASUT, BISIK
Infaq akan jd papa/miskin
and bids you to the shameful deed ˹of stinginess˺
SURUH/ memberi arahan kepada manusia
- Bakhil/kedekut
encourages evil deeds, sins, indulging in what is prohibited, and
immoral conduct.
while Allah promises you forgiveness and ˹great˺ bounties from Him.
And Allah is All-Bountiful, All-Knowing.
[Ayat 269] Hikmah ilmu bg yg dikehendakiNYA
He grants 'hikmah' to whom He wills
'hikmah' - knowledge of the Qur'an.
TaFaquh fiddin (faham agama mendalam)
Khasyiatullah (takut kpd Allah)
Nubuwah (Nabi bijak)--
faham kenapa kita kena infak.
The real meaning of hikmah is to place everything whereto it belongs and this can only be accomplished ideally through
'prophethood.'
comprehensive knowledge and solid creative excellence of all things
it means the rightly-guided knowledge of what exists, and the action which corresponds to it.
Hadith: "the real wisdom is the fear of Allah"
And whoever is granted wisdom is certainly blessed with a great privilege.
But none will be mindful ˹of this˺ except
people of reason
'Ulul Albab'
- people of reason - orang yang sempurna akalnya - bijak
Mampu melihat sesuatu perkara dgn pandangan yg jauh.
Whatever charities you give or vows
you make
Charities/infaq
(HR. Bukhari no. 6693 dan Muslim no. 1639 dari sanad Ibn Umar)
nazar mutlak
And the wrongdoers will have no helpers.
Allah Almighty knows all these things and He shall recompense for them duly. This was made known so that people are persuaded to observe limits and conditions and be warned of their non-observance.
are surely known to Allah.
[Ayat 271] The virtue of disclosing or concealing charity
To give charity publicly is good
(Sahih Muslim)
Jaga 3 perkara berkaitan nak bersedekah: 1. bersegera, 2. rasa sikit sgt, 3. sembunyikan
but to give to the poor privately is better for you,
as reiterated by the Hadith that the Two Sahihs recorded from Abu Hurayrah that the Messenger of Allah said
Allah will give shade to seven on the Day when there will be no shade but His.......a man who gives charitable gifts so secretly that his left hand does not know what his right hand has given.
Fakir:
1. yg meminta2
and will absolve you of your sins
Allah akan tutup ‘sebahagian’ (
) daripada dosa-dosa kita. Bukan semua dosa akan ditutup.
especially if it was concealed.
Donations for a public cause may be done openly to encourage others to donate, whereas it is recommended to give charity to the poor secretly.
you will gain goodness by your rank being raised, and your sins being forgiven.
And Allah is All-Aware (
)
of what you do.
No good deed (disclose/concealed) that you perform escapes His knowledge, and He shall reward for it
VS
[Ayat 272] Giving Charity to Polytheists - Charity benefits the charitable
You are not responsible for people’s guidance ˹O Prophet˺—it is Allah Who guides whoever He wills.
Asbabun Nuzul 1
Abu Abdur-Rahman An-Nasa'i recorded that Ibn Abbas said that; they, "Disliked giving charity to their polytheist relatives, but were later on allowed to give it to them when they inquired about this matter, and this Ayah was revealed."
Guidance is a matter for God alone. Not even the Messenger of God could be held responsible for whether individuals
heed the truth or not. God is the Creator, and He alone has power over people’s hearts and minds.
The mission of God’s Messenger is to convey His message, and then it is up to God how He gives guidance to individual human beings, as they deserve to be guided.
The God's messenger is to appeal to God to grant them guidance and show them the light.
Asbabun Nuzul 2
Ibn Abi Hatim reports on the authority of Ibn Abbas that until this verse was revealed, the Prophet (peace be upon him) used to instruct Muslims to give in charity only to fello Muslims, but then he ordered that charity should be extended to all who need it, regardless of their religion
Whatever you ˹believers˺ spend in charity, it is for your own good—as long as you do so seeking the pleasure of Allah.
when one spends in charity for Allah's sake, then his reward will be with Allah. He will not be asked if the charity unintentionally reached righteous, evil, deserving or undeserving persons, for he will be rewarded for his good intention.
Whatever you donate will be paid back to you in full, and you will not be wronged.
˹Charity is˺ for the needy who are too engaged in the cause of Allah to move about in the land ˹for work˺.
The description fitted a. group of Makkan Muslims (Muhājirūn) known as 'Ahl al-Şuffah' who had migrated with the Prophet to Madinah, leaving behind all their belongings and members of their families.
These people were not able to work and earn a living, but behaved with dignity and propriety, refusing to beg or ask for charity, so much so that only a few people were aware of their plight.
the directive has a universal application.
Those unfamiliar with their situation will think they are not in need ˹of charity˺ because they do not beg. You can recognize them by their appearance. They do not beg people persistently.
human dignity and self-respect.
those who do not know their situation think that they are well-off, because they are modest in their clothes and speech
"Those who have good minds discover their situation,"
The mark of them (i.e. of their faith) is on their faces. (48:29)
by the tone of their speech (47:30)
Whatever you give in charity is certainly well known to Allah.
no charity escapes Him, and He will
reward it fully and perfectly on the Day of Resurrection, when it is most desperately needed.
[Ayat 274] Nak bagi bila? dan bagaimana?
Asbabun Nuzul: Kisah Ali bin Abi Talib infaq hartanya siang & mlm, secretly & openly
Those who spend their wealth in charity day and night,
secretly and openly
including what one spends on his family. The Two Sahihs recorded that
the Messenger of Allah said to Sa`d bin Abi Waqqas: You will not spend charity with which you seek Allah's Face, but you will ascend a higher degree and status because of it, including what you put in your wife's mouth.
Imam Ahmad, Al-Bukhari and Muslim recorded that Abu Mas`ud said that the Prophet said When the Muslim spends on his family while awaiting the reward for it from Allah, it will be written as charity for him.
Ganjaran buat mrk yg berinfak secara terangan/sembunyi
Ganjaran akhirat
their reward is with their Lord,
Allah menjadikan pahala dari sisi-Nya
Ganjaran dunia
and there will be no fear (kekhuatiran) for them (utk future)
nor will they grieve (Kesedihan utk perkara yg lepas)
