John 17

Acts 2

"That they may all be one, just as you, Father, are in me, and I in you" (17:21)

"Sanctify them in the truth; your word is truth." (17:17)

Believers are sent into the world with a mission similar to Jesus'. "As you sent me into the world, so I have sent them into the world." (17:18)

"I have given them the glory that you gave me, that they may be one as we are one." (17:22)

Living in unity and fulfilling one's mission brings glory to God. "I glorified you on earth, having accomplished the work that you gave me to do." (17:4)

Love is the highest virtue, binding everything together and fulfilling the law. (13:13)

"Love is patient; love is kind; love is not envious or boastful or arrogant or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; it does not rejoice in wrongdoing, but rejoices in the truth. (13:4)

Love endures all things, always trusts, hopes, and preservers. (13:7)

Spiritual gifts will pass away, but love remains forever. "Love never ends. As for prophecies, they will pass away; as for tongues, they will cease' as for knowledge, it will pass away." (13:8)

"All the believers were together and had everything in common. (2:44)

"They devoted themselves to the apostles' teachings and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer." (2:42)

The Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved. (2:47)

"My brothers and sisters, believers in our glorious Lord Jesus Christ must not show favoritism." (2:1)

Seek wisdom from God to navigate life and relationships. (1:5)

Then make my joy complete by being like-minded, having the same love, being one in spirit and of one mind." (2:2)

"Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility value others above yourselves." (2:3)

Rejoice in the Lord always, regardless of circumstances. (4:4)

"Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your request to God." (4:6)

Living with joy and generosity, praising God, and enjoying favor with all the people. (2:46)

Believers should control their speech, avoiding gossip and harmful words. (3:10)

Genuine faith is demonstrated through actions, particularly caring for those in need. (2:17)
