Figurative Languages
Metaphor: "That time of year thou mayst in me behold When yellow leaves" the speaker compares himself to autumn, sunset, and a dying fire.
Personification: "Bare ruin'd choirs, where late the sweet birds sang" This line personifies trees as choirs, giving them human qualities. The "ruined choirs" mean the loss of life and aging.
