Types of walking
Stealth and Caution
Creep: to move slowly, quietly, and carefully, usually in order to avoid being noticed
Example: The cat crept silently through the tall grass, stalking its prey with careful, deliberate movements.

Tiptoe: To walk on your toes with the heel of your foot lifted off the ground, especially in order not to make a noise

Hobble: to walk in an awkward way, usually because the feet or legs are injured

Waddle: to walk with short steps, moving the body from one side to the other
Example: The duck waddled along the pond’s edge, its short legs making its movement look comical.

Trudge: to walk slowly with a lot of effort, especially over a difficult surface or while carrying something heavy
Example: They trudged through the deep snow, exhausted from the effort of making their way to the cabin.
Steady
Toddle: to walk with short steps, trying to keep the body balanced
Examples: The toddler began to toddle across the room, reaching out for his mother’s hand for support.

Plod: to walk taking slow steps, as if your feet are heavy
Example: After a long day of work, he plodded home, his heavy feet making each step feel like a laborious task.
