Do not allow drinks to be taken into computer room
Check all the wires regularly and renew wires if any sign of damaged insulation

Overheating of computer equipment (due to poor heat dissipation)

Increase number of wall sockets

Use desk strong enough to take the weight of the computer equipment
Use large desk so that hardware is not too close to the edge
