INDIA -This includes violent attacks on Muslim communities, discriminatory policies, and rhetoric from some political leaders that have heightened communal tensions.
FRANCE -This includes discriminatory policies, such as bans on religious symbols in public schools and public spaces, as well as high-profile attacks on Muslim institutions and individuals.
UNITED STATES -The 9/11 attacks significantly heightened anti-Muslim sentiment, and various political events and rhetoric have contributed to ongoing Islamophobic attitudes.
