how to set-up & play:
How the pieces move:
The King:
Moves one square to all adjacent squares
The Bishop:
Moves diagonally
The Knight:
Moves in an L-Shape (one square to the left/right and two squares up or two suqares to the left/right and one square up.
The Rook:
Moves horizontally and vertically
The Queen:
Moves diagonally, horizontally and vertically
Pawn:
Moves one square foward and captures vertically. An exception is on the first turn of a pawn, it can move two squares foward.
please setup the board game on a flat and stable surface
choose between the recycling or pollution team
3.Place the rooks in the corners of the board after that put th knights next to the rooks and then the bishop next to the knight.Place the queen on the square of your colour ,place the king next to the queen. Place all pawns infront of these pieces.
NOTE:the recycling team playes first
8 x 8 checkered board with grey and light green squares. It is 30cm by 30cm.
