LIFE
EUBACTERIA
Feeding Stratigies
Normally feeds on food from other plants, carbon sources, or animal matter.
-
Organization
Inside of the bacterium, located in the middle of the bacteria called the cytoplasmic matrix.
Tissues
Located on the outer membrane and including the peptidoglycan and the inner or protoplasmic membrane.
Habitats
Everything on earth can include water, ground, and humans.
-
-
ANIMALIA
-
Feeding Stratigies
Feeds off of brazing, browsing, foraging, scavenging, hunting, and filter feeding.
Reproductive stratigies
Fission, fragmentation, and parthenogensis
Organization
cellular level of organization, in animals the cells are organized in something called "cell lumps".
Tissues
Can include bone, epithelium, blood, cartilage, etc.
Habitats
Anywhere on earth's surface. (forests, water, deserts, ice lands, etc)
-
ARCHAEA
Feeding Strategies
Archaea mostly feed off of direct absorption, sometimes uses of the sun's light, and chemosynthesis.
Reproductive Stratigies
This kingdom reproduces asexually by the processes of fragmentation, budding, or binary fission.
Organization
Usually a simple cell organization, normally with a single bonding membrane.
-
Habitats
It is located in extreme heat temperature areas such as terrestrial hot springs or hydrothermal vents.
Morphology
Can be shaped as spherical, rod, spiral, lobed, rectangular, or irregular.
Locomotion stratigies
The flagella that are attached to them which are, hair-like appendages and are used to move around. Connected to the cell membrane.
PROTISTA
Locomotion Stratigies
Cilliates, move using hair-liked projections called cilia, using amoeboid movements.
Feeding Stratigies
Feeds on photosynthesis, decomposition, or ingestion.
Reproductive Stratigies
Binary fission, where p[arents cells split into 2 using sporogony.
-
Habitats
Usually located in damp soils, marshes, puddles, lakes, and oceans.
Morphology
Eukaryotes with unicellular, colonial, or parenchymatous organizaion.
PLANTAE
-
Feeding stratigies
Predation, symbiosis, eating nectar, fruits, pollen, seeds, etc.
-
Tissues
Differntiate between 3 types which include dermal, ground tissue, and vascular.
Habitats
located in fresh water, landscapes, and in deep seas/oceans.
