The International Baccalaureate (IB) inclusion policy focuses on creating an inclusive environment that ensures all students have access to high-quality education. Key areas of the IB inclusion policy include:
- Ensuring that all students, regardless of their personal circumstances, have access to IB programmes.
- Removing barriers to learning and participation to promote equal opportunities.
- Adapting teaching methods and materials to meet the diverse needs of students.
- Implementing various strategies to accommodate different learning styles, abilities, and interests.
- Providing additional support for students with special educational needs (SEN).
- Collaborating with specialized staff, such as special education teachers and counselors, to address specific learning requirements.

PURPOSE
All students should be provided the support necessary to reach their full potential regardless of individual abilities, backgrounds and needs.
The primary purpose of the Inclusion Policy is to provide guidance to teachers, parents, and the whole school on the provision of effective Learning Support to students with learning barriers / difficulties.
WHO DOES IT APPLY TO?
- Whole school community (Students, teachers, staff and parents)
- Non teaching staff and visitors (speech therapist etc)
What is inclusion? Inclusion is an on-going process that aims to increase access and engagement in learning for all students by identifying and removing barriers.
