Demographics
Price Range
Renting the floating home will be far less when compared to the price of buying the floating home. This option is targeted towards students
The price of buying a floating home can range from £100,000 to £300,000 depending on where you wish to buy the floating home
Buying the floating home is targeted towards older folk who are wishing to own either a vacation home or a permanent residence
Floating homes on water will cost far more than floating homes on land, because of this land floating homes are more preferred
Students make around £5000-£25000 from jobs they might have while in university and college. Depending on what job it is they might need to rent the floating home rather than buying it as they will have less funds to put aside for a home like this
Primarily young adults or older folk ranging from 20+ because of safety issues is younger children were to enter an on water floating home

-
Due to the consumers ranging ages i would need to offer multiple different options for students and older folk depending on their financial situations. Younger people might not have the same funds as older people which would mean they might need to rent the floating home rather than buying it outright.

Likes to travel and experience new environments that may not be the same as where they locally live or come from
The customer likes to have a home or experience a living space that has functionality over form and focuses in on helping the environment and saving land space for animals and over creatures

Aesthetic
The consumer might want a more aesthetically pleasing floating home and might have a high attention to detail when it comes to environmentally friendly products that have a certain function that benefits the local area or wildlife
On the other side the consumer might not have a high attention to detail and simply want a nice experience and might want to interact with wildlife and live in a floating home simply for the experience
Since there are 2 types of consumer aesthetics i need to please it is important i focus on both aesthetic and function however i must keep the aesthetic at a moderate value to attract all types of customers
Type of consumer
If the consumer is an adventurous person they may look into the floating home genre as its a new experience that can bring them closer to wildlife and a unique experience
If the consumer is a more laid back person and simply wants to experience something new rather than go into wildlife and have a unique one in a life type experience a land floating home might be more suitable
Depending on the consumers age i will also need to take disabilities into consideration and might need to include certain features and functions that benefit people who might not have the same accessibility skills as a fit and young 20 year old. Depending on the disability i will need to look into ramps, rails and other forms of guiding features for blind or physically challenged people
