  - - - My father was always a good role model for me as I was growing up. He's hard-working, patient and understanding; he's also got a good sense of humour and seems to get on well with everybody. Hopefully I will inherite some of these traits.

        I would like/am to talk about/ to describe one of my teachers who taught me at university. She had a great influence on me and was the person who helped me succeed in becoming a teacher

        Her name is Hoai, she taught me English when I was a sophomore in English Department
        
        She was in her late 30s but looked much younger than her age

        Her thoroughness in teaching inspired me to study English and teach this language,
        
        even though I had not been interested in teaching this language before.
        
        We never felt bored in her classes, she always told us interesting stories

        and also organized some captivating teaching methodologies with games so that we could learn new knowledge effortlessly

        I remember that during three months before the university graduation exam,
        
        she had given me many advices to navigate our career choices
        
        She patiently guided us through
        
        difficult hardships in writing research proposals and provided many useful tips to deal with the exam.
        
        Thanks to her effective teaching method and
        
        great dedication, I was able to pass the university graduation exam and became an English teacher

        Although I have now graduated from university and no longer be her student
        
        I often visit her on Teacher's Day to tell her about my work
        
        and she is always available to give me useful advice about any problems.
        
        I am forever grateful to have Mrs. Hoai in my life
