        Faustus, in his study, reflects on his knowledge and decides to study magic. He calls upon Valdes and Cornelius, two magicians, to learn from them. Faustus’s friends, Wagner (his servant) and two scholars, worry about his association with Valdes and Cornelius
      - Fourth Act
        
        Faustus performs further magical acts, including conjuring up historical figures like Alexander the Great. He gains fame and wealth but remains troubled by his bargain with Lucifer. Faustus's time is running out. He summons Helen of Troy to impress his friends, and he falls deeper into despair as he realizes the consequences of his pact.
      - Third Act
        
        Faustus uses his new powers to entertain himself and impress others. He travels across Europe, performing magical feats and playing tricks on the Pope and his court in Rome. Faustus continues to doubt and consider repentance, but Mephistopheles shows him visions and distractions to keep him bound to his pact
      - Fifth Act
        
        Faustus's final hour approaches. He regrets his decision and fears eternal damnation. Despite his pleas for mercy and repentance, it is too late to save his soul. The play ends with Faustus being dragged to hell by demons as the chorus laments his tragic fate and warns the audience about the dangers of ambition and overreaching.
      - Second Act
        
        Faustus conjures the demon Mephistopheles and makes a pact with Lucifer, selling his soul in exchange for 24 years of unlimited knowledge and magical powers. Faustus experiences doubts about his decision, but Mephistopheles distracts him with promises of power and pleasure
