- - - - Besides just the chance of legal consequences, utilizing virtue ethics, being honest and truthful is neccesary in this scenario
- - - - In order to ensure consumer data along with company data is protected, installing a more expensive/more secure security system is the ethical decison
        
        Utilitarianism- The net benifits over the costs are greatest for the majority
      - The unethical decision would be to take a shortcut and install a less secure system, jepordizing consumer and company data
    - - The ethical decision would be to allow the third party to deveop an AI application, but ensure that they have limiited access to user data, follow regulations and guidlines and are constantly monitored
        
        Ethics by Committe and even Empirical Ethics can be utilized to create guidlines for the third party and to research how users would feel about the third party application
      - The unethical decision would be to allow the third party free range and full access, jepordizing user information
  - - - A large amount of data is required for these systems and they have become popular targets for hackers and cybercriminals, therefore sensitive data can be leaked through data breach etc
- - - - The ethical decision in this scenario would be to refuse to leave out some data collection information in the terms in conditions. AI systems are not perfect and there are still potentials of risks. Consumers have the right to be aware and consenting.
        
        Rights- moral authority is determined by indivdual rights and each consumer should be fully aware of the true terms and conditions, then have the right to consent or not.
      - The unethical decision would be to go along with what your boss in saying and disgregard ethics/morals
    - - The ethical decision would be to investigate the treat, even if you believe it may be faulty
        
        Utilitarianism- Just by checking to ensure data is not at risk, the greatest amount of people will be benifited and protected
      - The unethical decision would be to ignore the threat detection
- - - - Biases programed can cause imbalences, and discriminatory effects
    - - It can be difficult to understand how they make decisions and forecast future and accountability issues result from this lack of openness
    - - Rely largely on data and the gathering, storing, and utilization of the data may lead to privacy and ethical problems
    - - The potential may lead to changes in the workforce including job loss
    - - It is difficult to decide who is responsible for any harm caused and legal along with ethical frameworks must be clarified
    - - Malicious actors may use them to launch cyber attacks or other undesirable actions
    - - There is a chance that societal imbalances will grow and access may be unequally distributed
  - - - The ethical decision would be to avoid the use of personal bias as it can have discriminatory effects such as racial profiling
        
        Consequentialism Theory-an action is right or wrong based on its consequences. In this case, the AI system would would not have an unfair and unjust bias against all African Americans
      - The unethical decison would be to include the unfair use of bias and prejudice in the system
    - - The ethical decision would be to not replace human jobs and intelligence with an AI system. Although the system can be utilized, jobs should not be jepordized and taken away
        
        Traditional Ethics such as Confucian theories- What you do not desire for yourself, do not do to others
      - The unethical decision would be to fire employees and use an AI system to replace their jobs
