Adaptive Computing and Assistive Technology (70%): This involves developing training programs for various types of adaptive software, providing individual instruction to students with disabilities, evaluating the integration of assistive technology devices (ATD) in students’ academic life, conducting assessments of students, training staff and student assistants, and maintaining and upgrading all ATD used in Adaptive Technology Centers (ATC) on campus. It also includes coordinating, producing, and providing alternate formats for students with disabilities, supervising student workers in the alternate format production process, and staying current with changing ATD.
