Social Influence

Identification - when a person changes public and private opinions/behaviour, but only when in the present of the group you are identifying with.
Compliance - a public change in opinions/behaviour, but is not private (their own.)
Informational Social Influence (ISI) - seeking guidance from others, driven by a need to be right. Often leads to internalisation.
Normative Social Influence (NSI) - conforming due to a need to be approved by others or to avoid being disapproved by others.
