cities and trade developed once more but people stil lived in the country side
this time was called an agrarian-urban society
they lived in the countryside
they lived in the city
the yield was increased because of
the horse collar
the iron plough
the result is that the yield was increased so the farmers had more food to trade
they traded it at a lot of places like
castles
monastries
crossing of roads and rivers
markets
villages with craftspeople
these villages often grew to cities
in that time about a 1000 villages grew to city
they started using land more efficiently
the used the three field system which is
they used different seeds so they could use the field 2 years in a row
the monastries and monarial lords made land suitable for farming
