Mirror Neurons: Neurons that fire for watching and doing action. E.g. mirror neuron might fire when a monkey grasps an object and when it sees another monkey grasp an object.
Parts of our brain is always paying attention to motions that seem meaningless → connection to empathy?
Mirror neurons seem to represent a neural component of social memory, linking observed behaviors with motor outputs.
True imitation: Some mirror neurons fire only during specific activities, when observed and performed.
Emulation: Other mirror neurons fire for specific outcomes, regardless of how achieved, when observed and performed.

Social Transmission of Information: A process in which an observer learns something through experiences involving other agents. E.g. If you see someone lose his money at a machine, you won't try buying from that machine.
Early social learning theory adapted Behaviorist principles: Focused on the incentives for a behavior: punishments and rewards.
