Definitions
Syncope
A sudden and transient loss of conciousness of short duration that is associated with a loss of postural tone with rapid spontaneous recovery due to global cerebral hypoperfusion
Seizure
Episode of abnormal electrical activity in the brain; may manifest as a transient epidose of loss of consciousness
Causes of Blackouts
