Establish the different learning strategies
Interpersonal
Cooperating
It allows students to share their ideas, which will allow them to join efforts and build learning, which will help them obtain feedback by reaching the proposed goals together. For example, completing a puzzle only by working together will they be able to finish it.
Role-playng
In it you must assume the role in which you are another person and use the context of your character to solve a proposed situation or problem. Feedback here is important. For example you are a detective and your partner is a suspect, you must talk to him to solve the mystery, (Nunan,1999).
Cognitive style
Classifying
It consists of putting similar things into groups or series of things logically related to their common essential characteristics. For example, group from a given list of cars which are normal or convertible.
Concept Mapping
They are graphic representations of main ideas or research that help you visualize them in a simple way to other people. For example: A concept map that explains in detail the techniques for learning to draw. (Asana,2024)
Predicting
This serves to develop the skill of relationship and interpretation, which allows us to use information that we already have, which will allow us to predict after or during the learning process, for example: Look at a color pattern and try to predict what the next one will be.
Inferencing
It is a process that allows us to make or have a judgment, which helps us to have knowledge, giving us the possibility of developing a new skill based on what we previously learned. For example, knowledge of creating programming code allows people to develop all types of computer programs and software.
Inducing
The student must look for patterns and regularities according to the assigned problem to find an answer. Example: Listen to a song, to discover the different ways of creating rhymes with the language.
Discriminating
To do this, you must learn to differentiate between main and supporting ideas, since all information must have a correlation. For example: A report on the increase in murders has as its main topic the situations that can lead to committing a murder, while the supporting information would be what type of people commit them the most.(Nunan,1999)
Taking notes
It allows you to improve attention in class since short notes on what we consider important using our words will help us better understand what we heard and what we wrote. For example, in the case of reading comprehension, reading a book and taking note of those paragraphs that make you advance the plot.
Diagramming
Establish what the purpose of the information you want to show in the diagram is, you must make it as simple and clear as possible, in order to express what you want. For example: Use a flow chart to show the process of making homemade bread.
Afective
Self-Evaluating
It helps you identify your strengths since by giving you feedback it allows you to make a judgment about how much you have advanced or improved in a task, allowing you to improve it, which must be sincere with respect to how much you believe you deserve in grade, your future successes will depend on this. For example: A student rates from 1 to 10 how well their drawing looks.(Colinas,2022).
Reflecting
This helps the student to better organize their ideas to be able to express what they think, helping them to learn in a better way which can also be used by the teacher for their planning. For example, a student through reflection can determine that by listening to his favorite music he can finish his homework in less time than usual.(Delgado,2019).
Personalizing
It allows you to adapt to the needs of your students and their interests, which will allow them to develop their own ideas, being able to give their opinion regarding a topic or activity. For example, if your students like poseia, they can write them down to be heard in class and receive feedback from their classmates.
Linguistic
Summarizing
To summarize you must select and present the main points of a text that will help you better capture the main idea. For example: in a text about types of tires and their failures, you can only write down the points that mention how they are created or what things cause tire failures and generate a summary form about it.(Nunan,1999).
Selective Listening
This helps you focus on listening only to what interests you, so you can obtain key information to avoid being distracted by information that is not important. Avoiding misunderstandings and conflicts when performing a task. For example, if you are listening to a conversation about downsizing, you can focus on those parts where your job is mentioned.(Unir,2023).
Using context
Learn to use the meaning that words have through the established context to obtain the meaning of a word, phrase and concepts. For example: While reading a report on space exploration, a student understands certain terms used by astronauts.(Nunan,1999)
Practicing
You will achieve this through grammar exercises, active listening to the language, studying the pronunciation of vowels to improve your linguistic skills, example: Listening to a different song every day to learn how to better pronounce words in a language that is not yours .(Nunan,1999).
Skimming
This will allow you to have a quick overview of the text or paragraph you read that will help you form an idea about the entire context. For example, by quickly reading a newspaper you can get a general idea of all the news that is written (Nunan,1999).
Conversational Patterns
Use already established expressions to generate a conversation and maintain it for as long as you want, example:Jose goes to a store to practice all the ways he can order an object. They will help you use common expressions to generate a conversation, making it fluid so you can maintain it for as long as you want. For example: José goes to a store to practice all the ways he can request an object.(Nunan,1999).
Creative
Brainstorming
The teacher must set a topic or problem, the students will give as many ideas as possible to solve a problem based on the ideas given. For example, how to create a product to sell at the entrepreneurship fair, everyone will contribute ideas on what to do for it.(Jabit,2007).
