Aspirin
MoA: Block COX-1 and decreases Thromboxane A2.
Dose:- 50 - 325 mg OD
(low dose for antiaggregant effect)
Uses as an antiaggregants:-
- Secondary prophylaxis and the treatment of Acute Coronary Syndrome
- Prevent thrombosis in Kawasaki disease, essential thrombocythemia and antiphospholipid antibody syndrome
S/E:- Bleeding
