Garden
The dog has access to around a tennis court sized grass area to play in when my client is at home working. However, they are not able to facilitate their needs as they are often on work calls and left outside. He also has access to a large patio area.
Indoor
The dog has access to the kitchen and lounge area of my clients house when they are left indoors alone. In the Kitchen, there is around 10m² of empty space, which they are able to play in.
Interaction
turned on and left
My client would be happy with this product, however it is not ideal as they would often use this product when they are in the middle of something or busy meaning turning it on may be forgotten about so the product becomes useless.

Outdoor Usage
Weathering
My client would ideally like to use the product outside, which means the materials need to be weather resistant. My client's dog likes to spend as much time outside, despite the weather, so this is paramount.
It should be stored inside, to protect the product and ensure it lasts for as long as possible.
Other animals
In my clients area there are lots of wild animals that could break the product or pollute the product. Therefore, the product needs to be resistant to force and chemical weathering from animals.
What the dog likes
Pulling
This could be a part of my project as my client's dog loves to pull against forces and tear toys, so a project which incorporates that could be ideal.
This design would be much more simplistic, and increase the likelihood of a working product.
Chasing
My client's dog's favourite thing to do is to run around an open space chasing balls. This means that a product which could entertain the dog, using balls that he could chase would be better for my client.
