- Goals must have consequences for failure.
- Goals should have varying timeframes (short, mid, long)

- Have multiple goals. Create goals for your CHARACTERS that YOU want to play as a player.
Players proactive in driving the campaign and telling the story. Avoid reactive players. And don't get caught slogging a thread that the players aren't engaged with. They should follow what THEY want to play.
