Resignation
This is the process where an employee gives notice to their employer of their intention to stop working for the employer

Constructive Dismissal
When an employee feels they have no choice but to resign. If an employer's action or inaction makes the situation at work so interable for the employee that the employee resigns.

Three broad categories:
- the employer gives an employee a choice between resigning or being dismissed
- The employer deliberately acts ina way aimed a pressuring the employee to resign
- the employer has acted so badly that the employee feels they cannot remain in the job

Redunancy

Wheen an employer reduces their workforce because a position is no longer needed, Unjustifiable if they are replaced by someone else in the same position

Retirement
There is no set age for retirement. The common age for retirement is 65, as this is the superannuation qualification age. The retirement process is generally the same as resignation
Dismissal
An employer may end their employee's employment via a 'dismissal' eg for misconduct or redundancy, but a proper process must always be followed
