"Animal Farm" (1945)

plot:
is an allegorical fable that criticizes the corruption of power. the animals rebel against the human owner of the farm, hoping to create an equitable society.
The pigs, led by Napoleon and Snowball, take control, promising equality. However, Napoleon gradually consolidates power, eliminates Snowball, and establishes a dictatorial regime.
The ideals of equality are betrayed, and the pigs become indistinguishable from the corrupt humans they had replaced.
"1984" (1949) plot
The protagonist, Winston Smith, works at the Ministry of Truth, altering historical records to fit the Party's propaganda. He begins a secret relationship with Julia and develops rebellious thoughts,
which he reports in a diary to defend himself against the rewrite of history. However, he is captured by the Thought Police, tortured, and brainwashed.
set in a totalitarian future where the Party, led by Big Brother, controls every aspect of life.
In the end, Winston is completely subdued and loses all sense of individuality, ultimately accepting to love Big Brother.
