        3x plantar (3,4,5)- originate on medial side of metatarsals, and insert at the base of the prox. phalanx
        
        4x dorsal - originate of both side of metatarsals, but insert on the lateral sides of 2-4, and then again on the medial side on the 2nd one
      - flexor digiti minimi brevis
        
        on the base of the 5th metatarsal to base of proximal phalanx of small toe
      - flexor hallucis brevis
        
        cuboid bone, and inserts on the base of the proximal phalanx of greater toe
      - adductor hallucis
        
        transverse head: from deep transverse metatarsal ligament, to the proximal phalanx of great toe
        
        oblique head: from the metatarsals 2-4, to base of proximal phalanx of great toe
    - - medial and lateral head of calcaneus, and insert on the lateral side of the flex. digi. longus tendons (diagonal)
    - - originate from the medial side of the toe's flex.. digi longus, insert on extensor hood
