Colonization

inequality

colonization involves subjugating a given area by force. It is natural that the resulting inequalities occur. A historical example would be the conquest of ancient civilizations (Aztec Mayans) by the conquistadors in the 16th century. the conquest of the empire caused huge inequalities and contributed to the collapse of these civilizations, because it was based on plunder
☹️

integration

Along with colonization comes forced integration. it cannot be avoided because it is a process that occurs naturally when two civilizations begin to function in the same area

European colonists arrived in North America in the 16th century, establishing colonies and displacing the native inhabitants. Initially, there were conflicts and violence between the colonists and the Native Americans. However, over time, cultural integration began to develop as colonists and Native Americans began to exchange knowledge, technologies, and customs
🙂

economic growth

Colonization very often leads to subsequent economic growth of the conquered unit. Since it is usually the colonizing civilization that is at a higher level of development, after conquering a given area, it begins the process of accommodation, which also involves the possibility of further development of the conquered unit. An example of this are British colonies in Africa (e.g. Kenya), which, thanks to the (necessarily brutal ☹️) British interference, gained access to electricity or running water.🙂

conflict

It is natural that conflict is the cause of Colonization. Some countries agree to the conditions imposed by the Colonizer, while others fight fiercely prolonging the ongoing dispute.
An example of this is the colonization of India by the British, who, by gradually taking over power and using political oppression, led to great dissatisfaction of the society. The rebellion that resulted in 1857 was brutally suppressed by British civilization
☹️

migration

Sometimes the population in the conquered area does not agree with the state of affairs and decides to emigrate. An example is the Polish population during the Polish People's Republic, who resorted to all means to escape to the West.
☹️

Migration

Inequality

Social inequalities are often the result of the regime taken over by the state. Great example are women who migrate from the countries covered by the patriarchy. ☹️

Integration

Each migration requires subsequent integration. Migrants must undergo an assimilation process before being allowed into society. An example is Algerian immigrants in France. However, such assimilation does not always go according to plan and may have unfavorable consequences for the individual. As in France, immigrants live in specially separated districts called achelems
☹️

conflict

With the influx of people to a given area, related conflicts often arise. Such people are not always welcomed or accepted even after initial acclimatization. An example would be the ethnic gangs found in Sweden. Such people, frustrated by the fact that they do not live at the level of native Swedes, cause riots, creating a problem for the entire country.
☹️

Inequality

Integration

Inequalities in society are usually caused by failed integration or lack thereof. The resulting conflicts may lead to losses on many levels of state development. The reason for such things may be, for example, the open door policy currently implemented in Sweden. This case is closely to the previous one related to conflicts caused by migrations, which result in social inequalities in the country.
☹️

Migration

Social inequalities may lead to migration caused by too great differences, but there are also cases where it is the other way around and migration is the cause of inequality within society. This is the situation in Paris, where immigrants living in achellemas do not have a chance for full integration, which makes the comfort of life of native Parisians unattainable for them.
☹️

Economic growth

Integration

The integration of society can have a major impact on its development. A well-integrated and educated society is able to significantly raise the level of such a country in the international arena. An example is the United States, where the hard work of the integrated immigrant population brought the USA to the pedestal of the international arena.
🙂

Colonization

Colonization of areas rich in raw materials or areas that can provide profit to the state is usually associated with the development of the economy. However, it all depends on whether goods function in an open or closed circuit. A perfect example of colonization involving economic growth is the colonization of the United States. The so-called Native Americans only exist in special reserves, it is the immigrant population and their ability to adapt to the situation that has brought the United States to an extremely strong position in the international arena. 🙂
