tend to affect very young & elderly, immunocompromised & those on antacids

treatment
-
antibiotics indicated for immunocompromised, severe sepsis, invasive infection & intercurrent chronic illness (e.g. malignancy)
stop medications like ACEi, diuretics, metformin, sulfonylureas, GLP-1 analogues & SGLT2 inhibitors
