Does [mod] work with Additional Sprites?
Please follow every path that applies to you to fully understand your modded game's compatibility.
Does the mod require the Dev Release of ClanGen to run?
Yes
Is this because the mod changes [files]? (note to self: list files)
Yes
If the mod references or interacts with pelts, (other), in any way, then it may not function correctly without some manual intervention.
What if it's one of these mods?
White Patches by a.corn
(more)
Good news! I use that myself, and so Additional Sprites is designed with that in mind. Please contact me on Discord if you're unable to find a download for the versions that include one of these.
No
Most likely everything would be fine. I suggest duplicating all your game files before installing, just in case.
No
Does the mod edit .json files, or just sprites?
Sprites
What sprites are changed?
Pelts, Lineart, Shading, Accessories, White Patches, Tortie Markings, and/or Scars/Missing Body Parts
The game will still be playable, but there will likely be visual issues, with accessories and scars least likely to cause issues. Some sprites have different lineart (especially sprite 14), and so would need to be manually modified to work with the new spritework
Backgrounds, UI
Should be no issues
.json files
Doublecheck what .json files are modified by your other mod(s). [list of.json files] are modified by Additional Sprites. If any of these are modified by other mods, you may have to manually edit in some of the code for it to work as intended. Note that anything referencing pelt colours or patterns will be different between Additional Sprites Dev Edition and Stable Edition, since the pelt patterns and colours are renamed in the code.
