Escaping from a volcanic land, you lose your way in the dark, flashlight…

- - - - You decide to choose the long way with the flashlight, you manage to get there before this solar system's sunsets, and boots start drilling into the vibraculum to mine it and collect it. After he's done collecting it, you see that the long way is inaccessible due to an overflow of lava from the nearby river. You now have no choice but to take the short way, and thanks to your flashlight you avoid the dangerous paths and safely go back to the ship where you put the ore you gathered in the spacecraft. You rest until day 2. You now shift your focus to quarry number two, which Boots has already scanned and found it's near the lava ocean you saw earlier. So you decide to take boots and your flashlight to go find the second quarry. (Boots scans the nearby area for quarries but can't find any, he also adds that you should get closer to the quarry as you know the general direction of it from when you were looking down at it from space. So you and Boots decide to head out to get closer to the quarry so you can find the exact location of it, but you think that you need some extra supplies in case this journey takes longer then expected as you need to, or you can not take the supplies but have less weight while your on your journey. Do you take the extra supplies so you can stay out longer? Or don't take extra supplies and only take a small amount of food and water?
        
        You decide to take the extra supplies so you can survive longer on your trip, but on the downside, you walk a lot slower. You set out into the barren landscape, walking towards the next quarry, but you slowly realize, that the area between the volcano range and the next quarry is riddled with hills, lone volcanos, and ravines. The rock-strewn, wild terrain makes it difficult to cross and navigate but luckily Boots reminds you once again why your government sent him, he scans the surrounding area for the shortest possible route to the next quarry, and thank him for being your savior. You look at the map and see a giant gap horizontally where there's no path but you don't overthink it. You miss falling into a ravine and wandering for hours. After walking for an hour, the ground behind you flattens out, ravines become pot-holes, volcanos become hills, and hills seemingly vanish into flat rock. This new environment is mysterious to you, This new rock seems polished and glistens in the scorching, rising sun and you wonder what could cause a hazardous, alien terrain to flatten out. After walking in a straight line for a while, you find your answer: A River of lava, flowing at breakneck speeds. Explaining why the boots map had a gap. You quickly on the spot think of 2 options to cross this river. You remember Boots has a built-in laser to cut virtually any material, including the rock on this planet. You could use different parts of rocks and weld them to create a bridge. Or you could Head back to the ship to grab your jetpack to fly across the gap
        
        You command boots to cut a small portion off the top of a medium-sized rock and then you give it orders to transport it to the river and surprisingly it holds up, you ask boots to go across to test it, but nothing appears to be wrong with the bridge. You then cross it, not trying to rush as it might break if you apply lots of force in one spot quickly, but in the end the extra weight you carried caused the bridge to break, and you fall straight into your fiery grave below. Go back to the previous choice
        
        You take a round trip and go back and forth, until Boots and you both have backpacks, and you go use them to fly across. Boots go first and complete it without issues, now that it's your turn you start to fly and take off but halfway to the other side you look at the fuel gauge and see it's already three-quarters used, and you think it's due to the extra weight so you turn back, but in the end, it wasn't enough, and you fall straight into your fiery grave below.

        you cross successfully, now Boots scans the area and you find that the next quarry is underground you look for an entrance, and you find the entrance is near the mountain on your right, you go in the cave and you turn on your flashlight but you see a fork in the path, you can either go left or right, and Boots can't scan as his sensors are scrambled underground.So do you choose to go right? Or Left
        
        You go down the right path, which gets even darker so you turn on your flashlight but it's still really dark, but after walking for a bit you enter a clearing. However, seeing that theres nothing but rock there you decide to go back to the fork and take the left path, but your flashlight suddenly runs out of battery, and you get disorientated. You see a circular object glowing around you, then another going in a pair, and another. You can't see what these creatures are but you know they are hostile, theres nothing you can do to defend yourself though. While your in mid-thought you feel a claw like object grab you and starts to crush you in it, trying to squirm and wiggle as you can't see anything, but the force of this calw is to great and you feel soemthing inside you peirce your heart... Go back to the previous choice
        
        You go left and you reach the quarry where you find 2 large Vibraculum stashes and boots starts to get to mining and breaking the ore into small chunks to easily haul it back to the ship. Now boots hasn't yet mined out the second stash in the cave, and you think it might be easier to haul back less material since it the journey is a bit far so, Do you choose to only take 1 stash's worth of vibraculum but be able to make it back to the ship faster? Or take the other stash and get more vibraclum for your planet, but move very slowly on your way back to the ship?
        
        You decide to take the other vibraculum for the sake of your planet, but during the excavation Boots messes up the mining and accidently starts a rock slide when he cuts a unstable part of the rock wall, however it didn't damage any equipment or yourself, so you give the order to Boots to mine the rest. After mining the rest fo the ore, you and Boots start heading out back to the ship to secure the vibraculum thinking the rockslide was just a small mishap. However, when you reach the fork in the path you hear a rumbling coming from the right side, you deduce that what is causing the rumble would not be good for you and Boots if it caught up, so you tell Boots to start running and run yourself, but you soon regret picking up that extra stash. Abruptly, the rumbling goes from roar to deafening, and you look back to see what going on, you are now nearing the cave entrance so some light shines through the cracks and you fainly see something that can only be described as a scorpion but adapted to survive in scorching temperatures. You feel your muscles burning from carrying the extra weight of the ore, but you keep pushing, once you're in the sun, you see a rock in the distance you can hide under. Do you hide under a rock nearby where you could hide to escape the scorpions for now? Or you could keep running to hopefully outrun the scorpions and make it back to the ship?

        You only take the first stash to stay light and travel faster. You decide to leave the cave with boots to secure the vibraculum safely in your ship, You decide to go back up to the surface where you eventually get back to get back to the ship. You take the rest of today to relax, as it is quite dark already and the sun is halfway below the horizon. Next morning, you set your sights on the third and final quarry, you don't need to make many preparations as Boots has scanned the area this morning on a scout mission and told you that this analysis has detected a massive volcano, and swirling pools of lava, so you head out with only essential supplies to take with you. You and Boots head off together towards that final quarry, with the help of his navigation you arrive quickly near the last quarry with only a lava pool and volcano blocking your path. The volcano is quite large, compared to the volcano range where you landed, whats more is that this Is a lone volcano with no others near it. You currently are standing in front of the volcano, but you are not sure whether to directly climb it and over, it or go around the sizeable base of the volcano. Do you take the long way, but use more more time for the sacrifice of time? Or do you take the short way to use more energy but conserve time?

      - You choose to go a long way with your knife, and you, manage to get to the vibraculum quarry before this solar system's sun sets without any issues, and boots start drilling into the vibraculum to mine it collects it, but as soon as you start getting ready to head back, but you realize it's already dark outside and you cant head back the long way as you see glowing magma which probably came from the river nearby, as you cant see in the dark clearly on the short way, you slip on a loose rock and plummet to your death.Go back to the 2nd last choice
