There are seven institutions of the European Union They are: the European Parliament, the European Council, the Council of the European Union, the European Commission, the Court of Justice of the European Union, the European Central Bank and the European Court of Accounts

Their different functions collaborate closely to set the agenda and initiate and coordinate the legislative activity of the Union.
