tính từ sở hữu: my, your, our, their, his, her, its

đại từ sở hữu: mine, yours, ours, theirs, his, hers, its

đại từ phản thân/ nhấn mạnh: myself, ourselves, yourself/ yourselves, thếmlves, hímelf, hếlf, itself

đại từ nhân xưng:

chủ ngữ: Ms.White is not happy the purchase. She wants a refund
tân ngữ của động từ: The woman wears a purple scarf. She got it from her husband.
tân ngữ của giới từ: Jane bought a bag for her father. Then she gave the bag to him

đại từ sở hữu và tính từ sở hữu

tính từ sở hữu: She is my supervisor

đại từ sở hữu = tính từ sở hữu + N: Brian lost his bicycle, so he is borowing mine (=my bicycle)

đại từ phản thân

dùng để nhấn mạnh hành động tự làm: He washed the dishes himself

dùng để diễn tả chủ ngữ với tân ngữ là một:

He introducted himself to the other team members. (he = himself)
He introducted him to the other team members. (he#him)

dùng trong cum cố định:
I solved the problem by myself. (= alone)
He should make a final decision for himself (= for one's own sake)
The door closed by itself (=independently)
