REPTILES
Natural Science
Reproduction
Most Reptiles reproduce internally through egg fertilization. Their eggs are laid on land and hatch when they are ready. The hatchlings are strong as soon as they hatch. The parents don't provide any care to the hatchlings(Higgins,2018)

Activity Idea
I will print out pictures of the life cycle of one of the reptiles and ask them to help me put them in sequence while i explain the cycle of growth and development of them.
Social Science
Extinction
There are many reptiles that are extinct. The most famous extinct reptile is the dinosaurs. Losing their homes to urban development is leading to their extinction. Climate change is also a cause(Graff,2022)
Habitat
They live and are found everywhere on land and in some seas. They are mostly found in warm places. Lizards and snakes are found anywhere, deserts or even gardens. Turtles are found in the sea.
Activity Idea
I would find 2 or 3 different story books and legends about reptiles in different cultures in the past and present and read to them. then ask them to draw contents they remember from the story.
Technology
Characteristics
They are cold-blooded. Their eggs are fertilized inside the body. Most reptiles have scales instead of just smooth skin(Divers,2020)
