Weather and Seasons
Key Concept: There are four seasons (summer, winter, spring, autumn) and each has different weather patterns.
Activity: Discuss the four seasons and their characteristics (hot/cold, rainy/dry). Show pictures of different seasonal activities (swimming in summer, playing in snow in winter) and have students sort them based on the season.

Key Concept: Weather is made up of different elements like sunshine, rain, wind, and clouds.
Activity: Read a story about the weather and discuss the different elements mentioned in the story (Harajili, H.2020). Show pictures of each element and have students sort them based on what they see (sunny day picture with sunshine, rainy day picture with rain clouds)
Effects of Weather on us
Key Concept: Weather affects what we wear, how we play outside, and our mood.
Activity: Create a "Weather Wheel" with different weather conditions (sunny, rainy, windy, cold, hot) on each section. Use clothespins with pictures of clothing appropriate for each weather type. Students can spin the wheel and choose the appropriate clothing
