To increase ecological awareness to the public about the threat of species extinction due to lack of conservation facilities
To create a visitor center that provides an immersive experience for the guests that educates visitors about butterfly diversity, their ecological role, and conservation challenges.
To design a visitor center in accordance with the building codes with regards to universal and sustainable design
To create a visitor center that motivates visitors to participate in the counteraction of biodiversity loss of butterflies

A part of the generated revenue can help to provide funds for the Jumalon Foundation and to extend help in maintaining other butterfly conservatories in the country.
The forestry that surrounds the visitor center provides a highlight for the modern design style of the center itself.
