Top Career Clusters and how can it help my with my life beyond school
My top career cluster is health science Studying Health Science can have a great impact on my beyond school. Learning about how the human body works, how healthcare systems are set up, and what it takes to stay healthy has really opened my eyes to all the different career paths out there. Whether I end up in medicine, nursing, or something else in public health, I know I've got a good understanding of the basics. Plus, Health Science has taught me some pretty handy skills, like critical thinking and problem-solving, which I can use in all kinds of situations. It's great because I can also apply what I've learned to my own life—like knowing what's healthy and how to make better choices. Overall, I'm really glad I took Health Science, because it feels like a solid foundation for whatever I end up doing after school, and it's also cool to know that I can help my friends and family make sense of health-related stuff.
How can developing the 4 c's help me with my life beyond school
Developing the 4 C's—Communication, Critical Thinking, Creativity, and Collaboration (or Citizenship)—has been super important for me as I think about life beyond school. When I work on my communication skills, I get better at explaining my ideas and connecting with people, which is useful for group projects and just getting along with friends and family. Critical thinking helps me figure things out and make smart choices, especially when things get complicated. And creativity? That's where I get to think outside the box and come up with cool ideas, which makes everything more interesting. Collaboration is a big one, too, because it teaches me how to work in teams and respect different points of view.
How do I showcase each value
Forgiveness: Forgiving a teammate who made an error during a crucial point in a tennis doubles match, understanding that everyone makes mistakes, and focusing on moving forward positively as a team.
Love: Comforting a friend who is going through a tough time, listening attentively to their concerns, and offering support and encouragement.
Teamwork:An excellent example of teamwork in action is playing doubles tennis. In doubles, my partner and I work together as a team to strategize, communicate, and coordinate our movements on the court.
