Marxism/Constructivism (Alex)

Realism (Emily)

Womanism/Feminism (Lauren)

See that the people are not seen clearly since it shows up in the same ways of colonial ways - climate change and gender highlights inequalities in women and they usually bare the brut due to the patriarchal structure and limit their access to resources

Is seen as an overreach of domestic affiars and its going past their jurd. and is only in the self interest of the state becuase of the amount of time that they took - is it really a big enough deal? They want the power and econ advantages but think that bringing in the second isnt.; they dont find them to be realistic Neorealists are more concerned about the international affairs bit still care about securty of the state

Neorealists might cooperate if they can use it to their adcangeate and their international standing

They can cooperate because they want the indiv. rights of peopele and freedoms/ want a positice impact on the people and states

(NeoLib.) Want the int. standpoint to be at the forefront

Want public welfare and care about the quality of life like access to clean water and other resources

The women in Switzerland helped and they believe since they were above to advocate it can benefit people internationally

Connection between nation states is viaal

They care about global responsibility and econ opportunities as well as taking time to between the environment and creating new climate change laws

Prompt:

Cooperation is difficult and they prioritize personal gains and not just want is best for the people but for the state and their power dom. and inter.

Believed they failed to deal with the problem

They believe that climate change is based on how the people navigate climate change and how their views shape their view (Believed that is the Swiss court believe this they would have come at it from a diff. angle - instead they prioritize small gains instead of the overall change and benefit for all.

Money is a social construct and climate change is about how we perceived things and how it is handled - the women were challenging the norm when they called for action

Things being a social construct they don't think that philo. is the only thing to do but thing that we need to change our actions to make a difference - shift perspective

Agree that it is mostly about the peoples actions - capitalism takes a huge part and is not stopped due to the ability to have economic growth

Believe that the econ. strictive keep the problem going in the benefit of the rich/higher classes and having the disadvantage affect the poor (a marg. group being affected by the upper class)

The fix is to revolutionize, and the states own the organization and help balance inequalities and have larger powers keep most of the organizations (balancing and creating environmental stability- admission records and creates a framework to continue to work toward a cleaner way of life)

Women of color want to push for intersectionality when it comes to feminism die to environmental racism and they things that they have been treated in the past and present

Ensure that they get to the root of climate action and want to create more equable and stainable ways of life

This case is a highlight for fem/wom. because of the high temps strain the bodies of women especially older women which is why it makes sense that the protesters were older women because they are disproportionally affected

This affects all people and especially women because it shows the intersection of the environment/race/gender

Climate impacts marg. people

In favor of the courts ruling because they want to protect all they fundamental rights of the people and their well-being especially those we are more vunerable to poverty and being affected by climate change as a whole

Solutions to take into consideration - transition away from fossil fuels and use more green options to still further develop in a cleaner way

Another option to built in green option into job spaces, homes, etc.

Look into more inter. cooperation because this issue needs collective action when dealing with gas admissions

(The Euro Courts) Order Switzerland to pay money to cover their expense and to reduce fossil fuels

Helps encourage countries to follow suit and to apply sanctions on to organizations

IGOs should be held accountable for more (Want it to be recognized and held accountable by the states??)

Women (Members of the Senior Women for Climate Protection) went before the courts to talk about climate change in Switzerland (Euro court of Human Rights) and weren't recognized but later pushed for change

If it was men, they might pay for a change and would be more likely to utilize capitalism and not have to work as much to make a difference
