Risk factor groups
The groups most likely to be affected are Teenagers, Women, Those with a first-Degree relative who has had the disorder, Athletes, LGBTQ+, and bulling victims.
Some factors are genetics,dieting, Transitions, perfectionism, and acculturation.
Treatment
Through a team approach Anorexia Nervosa can be battled by using therapy and nutrition education. This can include hospitalization if severe enough.
