without biodiversity an ecosystem would be completely the same and there would not be enough resources for the species in the ecosystem
Evidence: 1 Endangered spieces are important becuse of the preservation of biodiversity and to keep a healthy eco system for all animals
connection: Bio diversity helps a ecosystem so much. for example in the army if the whole army was the same they would not be as sucsesfull. The army has air force, navy and a couple more units. this helps so they can fight anytime and anywhere. like ecosystems the diversity is very beneficial

Claim: most organisms interact in multiple ways in an ecosystem, from eating the same food to working together to protect the habbitat.
Evidence: While watching our short movie it showed how ants who live in a tree protect the tree that supplies them habitat by defending any threats to the tree.
connection: this relates to the army because like the ant the army protects the country they live in. the army fights and puts there lives on the line just to protect the country that they live in like the ants protecting the tree they live in.
matter and energy
Claim: Matter and energy can be transferred in so many ways. for example when a alive animal eats a dead animal the one eating the dead one will get matter and energy from the dead animal.
Evidence:
One example of element cycle is if a fish eats a bad chemical and swims with that chemical then a bear or other predator comes to eat that fish the fish will therefore break down inside the bear and give that bear the bad chemical that the fish sickening the bear sometimes.
Human Impact, Human impact plays a huge role in different ecosystems, This can be from humans damaging the ecosystem in many ways, such as littering, developing the land or many other ways they will damage the ecosystem or the animals in it who consume.
Connected to Other Cycles there are so many other cycles just like biogeochemical cycles. One being how energy and matter is tranfered through so many ways from living animal to another living thing.
connection: this relates to the army because when the army works together to fight they use ammunition and products they eventually run out so like the plants getting energy the army gets resupplied with not exactly energy but more equipment to stay safe and protect their country.

How do matter and energy move through ecosystems? There can be many ways of this one example is from the sun, the sun produces energy to a plant and an animal eating that plant then gets the energy that once came from the sun. also when a animal eats a dead animal the eating animal consumes the energy and matter of the dead animal.

connection: My connection is the army. I chose this because they work together to accomplish a task. it connects to ecosystems becuse they rely on the different teams to accomplish big tasks.
