Art Nouveau
Background
It is a design movement that started in France around 1890 to 1920s. It is influenced and relies on several element aspects to make it's unique ornamental design approach. Art Nouveau uses long sinuous lines as well as organic natural elements to design many things - architecture, interior design, jewelry and glass design, posters, and illustration. The natural elements include vines, insect wings and flowers.

Main Idea
Art Nouveau artists believed that all arts should be united, resulting in a unifying movement that encompassed many different art forms and fields.
