Definition of Biodiversity: Biodiversity is when plants and animals work together, it refers to a variety of living things
Example: Plants
They give us food to eat. But how? We eat the seeds of a mature plant
They give us medicine. But how? It uses chemical synthesis of bioactive plants
They give us air. But, how? Once they have water and carbon dioxide, they can use energy from sunlight to make their food. The leftovers from making the plant food is another gas called oxygen.
Example: Bacteria
It gives the body needed vitamins. But how? It is produced by bacteria called, "Gut bacteria",
They kill plant pests. But how? They release toxins to slay their hosts
It helps digest food. But how? They use fiber that isn't digested and turn it into useful chemicals
Example: Animals
Example: Snakes, they help maintain biodiversity. But how? They have role as a predator and they also serve as prey to a wide variety of mammals
Example: Horses, they help preserve grasslands. But how? They graze to help preserve.
Example: insects, they maintain healthy soil.
Meaning of Ecosystem: a group of living things that live in and interact with each other in a specific environment
Example: Desert, they increase water, and food supply. But how? They rely on wells, oases, and natural springs for their water supply.
Example: Forest, they provide wood, vegetables, fruits, and etc
Example: Aquatic, They provide water for us. But how? They recycle nutrients, purify water
Example: Grassland, they provide extra water, wildlife, and etc
