What is Leadership?
Leadership is not management. They are radically different. Theorist Kotter, J. P. (2013) explains in 'Management is (still) not leadership'.
Management: Planning, problem solving, ensuring staff are engaged, performance reviews...Leadership: Behavioural and visionary focusing on attributes or finding opportunities.
Leadership types (Baxter, 2017): Person, Result, Position, Purpose, Process.
Value
Organisational Stakeholders: Consumers, Employees, Government, Investors/Lenders, Suppliers, Other groups...
Shareholder value - Rappaport (1986 and 2006) discusses the ways of creating shareholder value and how to generate value and innovate.
