too many tourists visting a single location can interfere with the habitat they are visitng
The features if the rain forest that attract visitors are the very same features that are threatened by excessive tourism. If a species loses its habitat or the habitat is altered in any way, that species may face extinction.
Commercial farmland, grazing cattle to supply the beef industry and firewood for small farms are all causes of deforestation and so is mining.
