Positive Psych for Megyn Simonson
Anger triggers
I start to get warm and I clench my jaw. I sometimes want to start crying.
It it worth it to get mad about this situation?
Reframing
Some people think that I'm mean...I like to think that Im expressive in ways other than my facial expressions Some people think that I'm sensitive...I like to think that I have a big heart and I have real emotions some people think that I judge everyone...I like to think that I talk to people that I like and that I don't like talking that much
cognitive restructuring
Always be there for others even if you don't fully know their situation or if you don't fully understand it. There are always going to be people that don't like you but there are always people who love you too. You should always read your Bible and try to do your best everyday. Don't spend your time thinking about the negative and what others think about you. Pray and give your situation to God and he will handle it. Make sure you love one another no matter what they did or their beliefs. Value your friends and family. Make sure you take care of yourself...your body is a temple. If something is wrong or you don't like what someone is doing you have to tell them no matter what you think their reaction will be. Believe in trying to make the world a better place and be there for others because you know what it's like when you don't have someone there for you.

downward comparison
I have a friend that has to go to therapy because of how damaged her mental health is and what's going on in her life. She has issues talking to people and a lot of times she acts like shes fine when she really isn't. She needs someone professional to talk to because its the only thing that can help her in some situations.
