The third concept is a short film about a young black boy who searches for self-love and acceptance in the gloomy streets of London. But as he starts his journey of self-love and acceptance, the forces of institutions, anxiety, self-hate, fear, environment, loss, and alienation constrain and bind him into a shell. He continues to fight through these boundaries that stop him from self-love.
This story is going to be told in a short film format. It will have a narrator; it will be through the voice of the narrator. It’s written from the narrator's perspective. We see the young black boy from the narrator’s perspective; he’s an observer who shows the audience a character who struggles to search for self-love and self-identity. He's trying to find balance with himself and the world around him. This concept is poem-esque, a story script. The observer is watching a subject while being observed.
