Assessment
Definition: A continuous process of gathering information to make informed instructional decisions. It involves collecting data on student learning throughout a lesson, unit, or course.
Purpose: To inform instruction, identify student strengths and weaknesses, and guide teaching strategies.
Examples: Classroom discussions, quizzes, observations, projects, portfolios, formative assessments.

Validity and Reliability: Ensuring that evaluation methods are valid and reliable, meaning they accurately measure what they are intended to measure and produce consistent results over time.
