Central Limit Theorem
if you have a population with a known mean and SD, as you take out more and more samples and calculate the sample mean over and over, those means will develop a normal distribution, assuming you draw enough samples

The probability of any event E is greater than or equal to 0, so there aren't negative probabilities
For any two mutually exclusive events, the probability of either happening is the sum of their individual probailities
