Preamble
the primary goals of the Ethics Code are to ensure “the welfare and protection of the individuals and groups with whom psychologists work and the education of members, students, and the public regarding ethical standards of the discipline.
Ethics Code
It provides aspirational guidelines that are intended to “inspire psychologists toward the very highest ethical ideals of the profession.
Fidelity and Responsibility (calls for psychologists to “establish relationships of trust with those with whom they work … [and to be] aware of their professional and scientific responsibilities to society and to the specific communities in which they work)
Integrity
addresses the importance of promoting “accuracy, honesty, and truthfulness in the science, teaching, and practice of psychology.
Justice
calls for psychologists to “recognize that fairness and justice entitle all persons to access to and benefit from the contributions of psychology and to equal quality in the processes, procedures, and services being conducted by psychologists.
Fidelity
It means being honest, dependable, and trustworthy in your interactions with them. is all about building and maintaining trust between the psychologist and the people they work with.

General Principles
Respect for People: This means treating everyone with dignity and fairness, no matter who they are.
Beneficence: Psychologists aim to do good and help people. They try to benefit others and prevent harm.
Justice: This is about being fair. Psychologists try to make sure everyone gets treated fairly and equally.
Integrity: Psychologists are honest and truthful in their work. They try to be transparent and avoid conflicts of interest.
Responsibility: Psychologists take responsibility for their actions and decisions. They make sure they're accountable for what they do.
